Body art - this art has many supporters and opponents. Tell the truth, can not be called art at all. Opponents say that it is vulgar, ugly and even dangerous. Supporters give their reason, that for centuries people have adorned themselves, either with clothing or jewelry and tattoos, body painting, plastic surgery and piercing is just a way to make people beautiful.
What for? A tricky question, but everybody has his or her own reason, actually, there are a lot of them: now people want to look better, earlier it was a necessity in order to get rid of enemies and frighten them.
